Lindsay McCutcheon, LMFT, will present an Overview of Eating Disorders.
This presentation is an overview of the diagnostic and clinical presentation of eating disorders as well as their etiology, risk factors, and common comorbidities. Lindsay will also review the current evidenced based treatments and areas of future research.
Lindsay is a Licensed Marital and Family Therapist with a background in treating eating disorders through the University of California San Diego Center for Eating Disorder Treatment and Research. Lindsay helped launch and manage UCSD’s first IOP/PHP specifically for the treatment of Binge Eating Disorder. Lindsay has also helped research novel treatments for overeating and obesity at the UCSD Center for Healthy Eating and Activity Research. Lindsay currently works as a clinical care manager at Magellan Health.
