Carol Robinson is currently a psychotherapist in private practice. A portion of her work includes treating clients and developing the research arm of the Saint Louis Psychoanalytic Institute.
In this session, we will explore and clarify current understandings of the constructs of Sexuality and Gender Identity. Participants will learn to conceptualize the differences between and interactions across these concepts. The discussion will include strategies for working with individual clients struggling with identity-related to sexuality and gender identity. The impact of family responses to these clients will also be addressed.
